Washington Irving Neighborhood School (WINS) is a nonprofit, tuition-free pre-K through 5th grade school and part of the IPS Innovation Network, proudly serving more than 200 students on Indianapolis’ Near Eastside.
WINS offers a comprehensive range of academic and family support services designed to help every child thrive. With small class sizes, one-to-one technology, and a strong commitment to rigorous instruction, students receive the personalized attention they need to succeed. Social-emotional learning is integrated throughout the school day, supported by dedicated skill-building programs and onsite mental health services.
Through a partnership with the John Boner Neighborhood Centers (JBNC), families have direct access to valuable community resources and services. The school also offers robust extracurricular enrichment opportunities and parent education programs to further support student growth and family engagement.
Washington Irving Neighborhood School is a vibrant, inclusive learning environment where children are empowered to reach their full potential—both in and out of the classroom.
